Choosing a large animal trap
Animal-control agencies and wildlife-removal companies use extra-large traps for stray dogs, coyotes and other big animals.
- Size. Our 108, 130 and 150 cm sizes cover foxes and beavers up to large dogs and coyotes.
- Wire. The largest sizes use 3–4 mm wire and 5 × 5 cm mesh for strength.
- Single or double door. Double-door traps are open at both ends, so animals see through and walk in more readily. Single-door traps keep the bait in a closed end for wary animals. Every size is available in both.
- Finish. Electro-galvanized silver or black coated wire, both suited to outdoor use.
- Storage and shipping. All sizes fold flat, which lowers freight cost per unit and saves shelf space.

Frequently asked questions
What size trap do I need for a dog or coyote?
For medium dogs and coyotes, use 130 × 45 × 50 cm (51 × 18 × 20 in). For large dogs, our 150 × 50 × 55 cm trap is the largest size we make.
Are these traps single or double door?
Double door is our standard; every size can also be made as a single-door version. Many distributors stock both.
Can you put our brand on the traps and packaging?
